On May 20, 2026, students from the Department of Social Work at Tarsus University visited Erdemli Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center within the scope of the “Social Work Setting Examination” course.

During the visit, the students received information about the social work practices carried out at the nursing home and had the opportunity to examine the functioning of the institution on site. Evaluations were made regarding elderly care services, support mechanisms provided within the institution, and the professional roles of social workers.

The visit contributed to the students’ understanding of institutional services in the field of elderly welfare and enabled them to observe social work practices on site.
