Programme Educational Objectives

Graduates of the undergraduate programme in Social Work are expected to:

  1. Uphold human, social and academic ethical principles, particularly the fundamental values and ethical standards of the social work profession.
  2. Use foundational professional and academic knowledge and skills to plan and implement effective interventions with client systems.
  3. Develop national and international awareness of social work through lifelong learning.
  4. Apply knowledge and skills in social work research methods to field practice in response to rapidly changing national and global conditions.
